Authentic flavors to tell the story of my land

When I imagined my excursions, I never intended to take people just to see the sea, but to experience it. And experiencing the sea, for me, also means getting to know the land behind it: its stories, its traditions, the silent work of those who have preserved the flavors of Liguria for generations.

I believe one of the driving forces behind travel is the desire to connect with the soul of a place. That's why I choose to personally select every product I offer on board: I want to share not only emotions, but also my roots.

I feel like a maritime pine, rooted firmly in both the land and the sea. My Liguria is like this: suspended between two worlds, alive in both.

The choice of products on board is born from this vision:

only local specialities, only organic and zero-mile products, only businesses that respect the environment and tradition, minimising plastic, thanks to membership of the eco-sustainable Ecozema project.

It's a concrete way to respect the sea that hosts us and to support those who, with passion, continue to keep the flavors of the past alive.

Gluten-free products are also available upon request, to make the experience inclusive for everyone.

The producers: the stories behind every flavor

Every product served on board has a face, a name, a story worth telling. It's more than just an aperitif or a snack: it's a journey into the gastronomic culture of my homeland.

  • Pasticceria Bianchi: Since 1889, a tradition that belongs to me

Pasticceria Bianchi is a symbol of Levanto, having brought sweetness to entire generations since 1889.

And I have a special bond with this place: many years ago, right there, a child with golden curls took his first steps in the laboratory. That child was me.

Today I bring cakes and sweets from the same pastry shop on board: it's like taking a piece of my childhood with me, and offering it to my guests.

  • Val di Vara Dairy Cooperative: The Valley of Organic Food

The Val di Vara Dairy Cooperative, where I source the products I offer on board, was founded in 1978 in the heart of the upper Vara Valley, known as "The Organic Valley" for its over 2,000 hectares of certified organic meadows and pastures. Driven by the desire, shared by the farmers, to collect and process all the milk produced in the valley directly in their own dairy, promoting an activity otherwise destined for extinction, the Dairy Cooperative operates in the Varese Ligure area, the first European municipality to achieve EMAS and ISO 14001 environmental certifications. This cooperative's philosophy has always been respect for the land, so much so that many farmers have adopted organic farming methods.

  • Raso Bakery and Da Domè Focaccia Shop: Ligurian Focaccia

The Ligurian focaccia and savory pies we serve on board come from the Panificio Raso and Focacceria Da Domè.

These ovens preserve the original recipe for focaccia, the “fishermen’s bread”.

  • Antica Pasta Fresca Maria: Gattafin and Traditional Pasta

Since 1956, this workshop has been producing typical Ligurian fresh pasta: spaghetti, trofie, gnocchi... and above all "Gattafin," a Levanto specialty that I personally bring on board.

They are small treasure chests of flavor, a symbol of Ligurian home cooking.

  • Levanto Valley Cooperative: Wine from our hills

The white Lievàntu, produced with Albarola, Vermentino and Bosco, comes from vineyards cultivated on terraces supported by classic dry stone walls.

It's a wine that speaks of our land: mineral, fresh, fragrant, perfect for enjoying on a boat while the sea reflects the light.

  • Ligurian Pesto: Liguria's Most Famous Flavor

The fresh pesto I serve on board follows tradition: garlic, basil, olive oil, and cheese, crushed in a marble mortar. Its aroma immediately speaks to our identity, especially when paired with fresh trofie.

A journey of taste to be experienced with the sea in your heart

Every product served on board tells a story. Every flavor is a memory.

Eating on board isn't just about enjoying a meal, it's about experiencing the most authentic Liguria, made of expert hands, quiet labor, and timeless traditions.

Sailing and tasting these products is like living two experiences at once: the beauty of the sea... and the flavor of my land.
