A special place, where it all began
There are places that are not just points on a map, but chapters in our lives.
For me, Punta Mesco is one of them. It was here that, many years ago, I began working with the old fishermen, men of the sea whose eyes bore the wisdom and toil of a lifetime. From them, I learned respect for the currents, the wind, and silence, and above all, I found the strength to follow my dream: to experience the sea and share it with those seeking emotions, dreams, and authentic moments.
For the old fishermen and sailors, Mesco was home.
I have been wanting to propose this tour for a long time, and the reasons are simple but profound.
The first is nature: the currents surrounding Punta Mesco make the water incredibly clear, transparent, and clean like few other areas in Liguria. The second is the heart: this reef is where it all began, where my journey began, and where I still feel a strong connection today.
The afternoon tour to Punta Mesco is much more than an excursion: it's a return to the origins, a journey to a place that holds memories, stories, and a timeless charm.

"If I were to no longer live... or wait in vain for the swallows... and the Mesco were to no longer grow green... I would still be content."

Set sail for unique views between the Cinque Terre and the islands of the Gulf of Poets.
Every afternoon, we'll set sail from Levanto and head for one of the most spectacular vantage points on the Ligurian coast. Punta Mesco is a promontory of rare beauty, renowned for its imposing profile and the breathtaking views it offers.
From here we can admire the entire Cinque Terre:
- Monterosso, with its golden beaches,
- Vernazza, elegant and nestled between the rocks,
- Corniglia, leaning on the cliff,
- Manarola, colorful and harmonious,
- Riomaggiore, authentic and full of history.
But the view doesn't stop there: on clear days, we can see Portovenere, the Church of San Pietro perched above the sea, and the islands of Palmaria and Tino, which emerge from the water like two stone sentinels.
An afternoon sail is perfect for observing this landscape: the light is warm, the shadows lengthen the cliffs, and every nuance becomes more intense. The sea, calmer, reflects the sky like a mirror.
Along the way, we'll have plenty of time to take photographs, listen to local stories, and enjoy the journey calmly, unhurriedly, letting nature speak for us.
Swimming, snorkeling and a return to the origins
The tour includes stops in particularly picturesque areas of the Marine Park, where the water is clear, deep, and perfect for snorkeling. Here, you can dive amidst golden reflections, explore the seabed, and soak up the tranquility of an afternoon by the sea.
One of the most special destinations is Canuei, a small and intimate cove reachable only by sea.
It's a place steeped in meaning: right here, years ago, I began my journey alongside the fishermen. Here I learned what it means to work the sea and at the same time be guided by dreams. Every time I return to Canuei, I feel ancient sensations resurface, as if time had never passed.
I'll share stories, memories, and curiosities about these places with you, because I believe a journey is also made of words, emotions, and memories.
The afternoon tour to Punta Mesco is perfect for those seeking a relaxing, intimate, and meaningful experience away from the beaten track. It's a chance to see Liguria from a new and profound perspective.
